Agree the outcome first
Describe what the machine or line needs to do, which products it must handle and how acceptance will be assessed. A shared definition of the intended outcome makes it easier to prioritize open issues.
Make the documentation available
Gather machine manuals, electrical drawings, layouts, interface details and available software backups. Identify the person responsible for each machine and the contacts needed when an OEM decision is required.
Prepare the site and samples
Confirm access, utilities, installation status and the production window with the responsible site team. Provide representative products and packaging materials, including challenging formats where possible.
Plan the handover
Allow time to review the action list, relevant settings, trial results and remaining limitations. Assign responsibility for open items and agree whether follow-up production support is needed.
Use this guide to prepare a project conversation. Equipment-specific instructions and site procedures should be established with the responsible technical team.
