Industrial automation

Custom automation & engineering

Every automation project begins with a process that needs to work better. We help translate production requirements into a defined concept, an engineering scope and an implementation plan that considers the people, equipment and space involved.

SCOPE OF SUPPORT

Engineering built around the actual application.

01

Define what success means

Product variation, cycle time, quality expectations, operator interaction and changeover requirements shape the concept. We clarify assumptions early and identify where samples, measurements or a feasibility trial are needed.

02

Develop the mechanical and controls scope

Support can include layouts, machine interfaces, tooling concepts, component selection and coordination of mechanical, electrical and controls work. Specialist work and fabrication responsibilities are agreed for the individual project.

03

Carry the concept into commissioning

Design decisions need to hold up on the shop floor. We consider assembly access, adjustment, maintenance and troubleshooting from the start, then support implementation and verification against the agreed requirements.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Clear work. Useful outputs.

The final deliverables are agreed in the project scope. Depending on the assignment, they can include:

  • Documented application requirements and constraints
  • Concept and engineering scope appropriate to the project
  • Component and supplier coordination where included
  • Implementation, testing and handover requirements

COMMON QUESTIONS

Good questions to ask.

Can you help with engineering only?

Yes. A defined engineering assignment can be scoped separately, including mechanical concepts, equipment modifications, layout work or technical coordination.

Do I need a finished specification?

No. We can start with the process, the problem and the intended outcome, then agree the information needed to develop a useful specification.

THE NEXT STEP STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION

Tell us what your equipment needs.

New equipment, an existing line or a production problem. Tell us what you need to accomplish.
